Plugins / Re: Which next? [Poll]
« on March 31st, 2012, 02:37 PM »Also, I'm interested to note how the voting is currently split. Makes it hard to pick something to do!

Certainly, plenty of permissions are possible, which is probably why I'm not doing it for the moment... :P

Something else.
Who voted what. I miss that from noisen ;)
Core or plugin doesn't matter actually.
Just an idea if you're bored. It's not too long to implement.
Sorry about not being there. Spent the evening discussing Saint Seiya Omega. It was an interesting day... ;)

'Kay then.
The code is really on the heavy side though... Here's hoping you won't have to update it!
Server updated to r1528. Including the French word, but I won't commit it for now. I'm OFF to Omega. See you later tonight!

It's just that, I like having my dropdown without any scrollbar. I find this more natural... More natural, even, than the iOS implementation.
BTW, only 5 commits left before we reach 300 commits (together) for the first quarter :)
We've already broken our record by far, anyway!

When it comes to moving Home to Welcome, I guess I'd rather do it. But you're welcome to do it and I'll get to complain later, eheh. No, seriously, I don't mind, do it if you want. Just make sure to fix my crappy code and make it more MVC ;)
Odd little thing. This topic didn't have any "new" anchor when I visited it. (It was my first visit and it had all 3 entries above.) It's working now.

Wouldn't it be easier to forget about timezones, then....? I don't know.

As a reminder, Home.template.php is what I'm using on Wedge.org, but it's a custom homepage.
The official homepage, Welcome.template.php, will eventually be using 80% of the code from Home, and is currently *broken* when it comes to thoughts I'm pretty sure of it.
The easy workaround is to simply add 'default_index' to your settings table, and set it to 'Home'.
To answer Shitiz's question, id_parent is the ID of the thought that you're repying to. id_master is the ID of the thought that started the thread. Among other things, it determines in what profile area the thought will appear when you want to read a thought thread in context. (i.e. by clicking the @Name...)

Never got around to replying that post...
I'm still unsure what to do about this. I'm always against forcing every single browse to load code that it will never need. (Just like I'm not cool about forcing them to load ARIA stuff they'll never use either, but that's a bit harder to detect than a browser version...)
I'd like to get some opinions on this.

Features / Re: New revs
« on March 30th, 2012, 03:01 PM »
rev 1527
(6 files, 7kb)
+ Added a new helper function, add_replacement($from, $to). This allows you to quickly add a replacement request for the output buffer processor. This is executed right after <URL> is transformed the second time. Probably should add more entry points for the replacement, but that's what I needed right now. I'm a selfish bastard. I'm French, very simply. (Subs-Template.php)
+ I was always bothered by the 'PM inbox' page title, which is shown even in convo mode. Using the new add_replacement function to replace the page title with the last non-empty subject in the conversation mode list. There are probably cleaner ways to do this, but I'm off to the theater premiere of Saint Seiya Omega episode 1, and no one, let me repeat, NO ONE, is gonna make me miss a SINGLE SECOND of that. Perhaps I'll regret it. Perhaps I won't. Perhaps I bet with a friend that I'd insert a reference to Saint Seiya in the Wedge changelog. Perhaps not. (PersonalMessage.php)
* Translation and tweaks. (Admin.french.php, PersonalMessage.language.php, Profile.french.php)
