I'm getting 0.2s page load times at best, which is 20 times more than on more capable hosting... ;)
Although Wedge is definitely faster than SMF, it's still on the same order of magnitude, so...

I made some tests with Pandos's personal server, they were good, but there were some technical issues that killed a bit of the momentum (like his using Cherokee which isn't exactly what Wedge was built for, as well as some session problems), so for now I'm staying here, but I'll definitely keep that server in mind, in case this one really, really gets too annoying. (Plus, I need to think of a really fast server on which to host wedge.org, because most people tend to judge a book by its cover, and in Wedge's case, the cover is the official website.)
ok no problems. It may be because i have a ton of plugins and such. i get it between .1s to .150s so it might be some location thing too. i'll try a fresh wedge installation, and see how it goes.

I can set you up on Hostgator, my friend has a reseller there and i also have a reseller at semoweb.com hosting. So anywhere  you want. Though i think hostgator is faster.

The SMF forum, http://jucktion.com/forum is on hostgator. You can check the speed there i have enabled " Display time taken to create every page " there.

I've been following this up too since a some time. I so want to move away from SMF, because it's so limited with what you can do.  but didn't have time to test this out. So i'm now back to test and hopefully help out with finding bugs and such.

Thanks again @Nao, really appreciate your and the teams effort on this.
