I like the sharper look in #707 better, as opposed to the beveled look.  ;)

Lol. Stuck with the old Photoshop 7.0 on this small, borrowed comp so I cant re-install my CS Suite until I finish building my new comp. Which = no Illustrator access.  -_-

I have never seen a logo topic span 38 pages before.  :eheh:

I kind of like Bloc's concept.

Plugins / [Naming poll] Re: Packages

I say call them "Things that hopefully creators bother to update them for current versions of Wedge" but that's not on the list.   :eheh:

I also missed the poll but I agree that Add-Ons  would work just fine.  ;)

Trying to get the hang of 'proper' English by the book... This is 'whom' here not 'who', right?
It all depends on who, or whom the English teacher was.

Am I missing something here? Is "Friend" suppose to be a big deal? I have lot's of friends. Can someone please supply me with a "Friend" badge so I can walk around with it pinned to my chest?

I really wouldn't consider the SMF Charter program a form of donation acceptance. They state that if you donate a certain amount of funds then you will be given Charter access and/or certain, specific benefits. To me this is not a form of donation but special services or privileges for a set price. This is sales, not a donation program.
A donation is a form of presenting a gift or contribution without the expectation of receiving something in return. Other than some form of acknowledgement, if desired, nothing else should be expected from the result of donating.
Although I see nothing wrong with offering members a choice to donate if they like, I have no issue paying for certain services but if I desire to donate, I certainly do not expect a reward.

....The fact remains that people will continue to be insecure in spite of any measures you place making them more secure, and if someone can type in a username instead of an email address, they invariably will, because it's easier.
Indeed. Just about every security measure that is currently possible has already been used and most still chose the easiest way. I guess it really doesn't matter what you try, your best bet is to simply make it a habit to change your password on a regular basis

+1
I agree. I normally donate to a good cause, something that I appreciate or enjoy and expect no special treatment in return. The problem is that many that donate have the idea that they are owed something for their generosity. They fail to conceive the true meaning of the word "donation".
One should not expect to be singled out for special treatment simply because of offering a donation. That would more or less be considered payment for services, not a donation.

When I used a login by email mod a while back it actually cut down on attacks drastically. I for one would like to see this option sometime in the future.
