Language revs
« on January 14th, 2014, 06:57 PM »
I'll be using this topic to 'tip' translators that some updated files are available on the languages repo. I may not do it all the time, though. For safety, just read through all New Revs posts, and see if I mention any language modifications. ;)

* Reflect folder structure changes. (Home, Install, ManageSettings)

Where to go with plugin translations?
# dpkg-reconfigure brain

I'll be uploading the plugins repo to github soon, too.

I'm currently working on integrating the SMF 2.0.6 security patch (been postponing that for too long, and I can't make anything public without it being as safe as I know it can.)

By the way...
It would be nice to have German back again here on wedge.org :)

Sorry, I only just noticed your pull request. Which happens to override my latest push. Oops. Can you make rebase your commits onto my updated master, sign this off, and then pull request? (You will NEED to do a rebase, and use to opportunity to squash your commits together. I'm really sorry, I didn't expect you to update from the Wedge repo, rather from the languages repo, which didn't have the latest changes.)

Pandos, if you pulled the latest revision of the main Wedge repo (the one with all the CSS changes), then you'll have to re-do a clean repo when I push it to github, because I'm amending my revision before it's too late.
If you haven't done it yet, then wait a bit ;)

Or, a bit easier...

Right-click your repo, Git Show Log.
Right-click revision c663d38709eca586f069647e990a43adc25e925f (the second one in the list). Click "Reset to this". Choose "Hard". Confirm.
Now you can safely Pull from the repo. The last update will be overwritten.

* Changed license for language files to the MIT license. I don't think it'll hurt Wedge much if these files find themselves in the wild; anything in Wedge that's NOT a language file is still under the Wedge license, so don't get it wrong! Also added the DCO to the repo, and changed copyright to add contributors. (DCO, LICENSE, README)

@ The main goal is to allow more freedom to translators, and allow them to 'forget' to sign-off their commits. I would still recommend signing them off, until we get some proper legal advice on this.

:edit: I thought clicking the 'Push' button would feel exhilarating, but in fact it felt more awkward than ever... Well, we'll see if I can live with permissive licenses in the future... :P
