You haven't been chosen as a beta tester. You're gonna have to wait till the public alpha is released.

Get to posting a bit more, be more enthusiastic, then I'll consider it. Otherwise, please wait for the public alpha :) Which shouldn't take too long to come out... Hopefully.

Archived fixes / Re: Minor glitch on 'thoughts'

So I see you guys fixed the spacing glitch although just thought I should mention that when shorthand date display is disabled, the glitch is visible. Also while we're on the topic of glitches on 'thoughts', do take a look at the "reply" button on the attached images.
As an administrator I also don't see a modify/delete button as per thought.

Same issue here. I checked and the .htcaccess file exists for me and yet almost every part of the forums seems to be inaccessible.

So perhaps this topic can be marked as solved then?

Archived fixes / Minor glitch on 'thoughts'
« on November 4th, 2012, 02:20 AM »
As you can see there seems to be no sort of spacing between time and poster/board.
Happens with all themes.
Strangely though this bug does not appear on this site so I don't know if I should be reporting this at all.

Archived fixes / Re: Minor glitch on the admin login page

Oh silly me :wow:
With Wine it's not just the admin page. The footer seems to be generally apart from the main wrapper in all areas actually.

Although looks fine on Google Chrome Version 22 and Firefox 16.0.1
P.S: maybe large attachments ought to be auto-resized?

Development blog / Re: It only took two guys two years...
« on November 2nd, 2012, 09:52 AM »
Props to the two of you for pulling off such a fine piece of software. I've always had respect for the two of you ever since I discovered Aeva Media and on behalf of the SMF community I just want to say how much we appreciate your work and what great human beings the two of you lads are! I take my hats off to the two of you. May god bless you both.

The Pub / Re: Looking for volunteers to test the Wedge private alpha!
« on October 28th, 2012, 12:49 PM »I can't seem to access the beta boards. I should be able to, right?
Get the latest Wedge package and unpack it on your server in a web accessible folder.

Archived fixes / Media buttons broken up

Not quite sure why but buttons in the Media section seem to be broken up into two lines and there's a tiny scroll bar at the far right.
Using the most recent version of Chrome.

The Pub / Re: Looking for volunteers to test the Wedge private alpha!

Q. How long have you been a SMF user? (Approximately...)
A. Approximately 4 years.
Q. If you're planning to use Wedge on a live forum, post its URL.
A. Not planning planning to use it on a live forum but rather on a shared server which I have lying around as I moved my main site to a different hosting. I'd even invite a couple of fellow SMF users who I'm quite familiar with to come help with testing.
Q. How much daily time you think you can devote to testing Wedge. (If you're planning to use it on a live forum, you can also rely on your users to help test it.) Please keep in mind that we'd like to keep the private alpha period relatively short (no more than a couple of weeks would be ideal), so I'm really asking about the next couple of weeks mainly. (Well, at least the first couple of weeks after the initial release.)
A. I'm free as a bird since I'm currently on semester break. Practically as long as I'm not asleep, I'm in front of my PC so one thing I can assure you is that I've got a lot of time on my hands. Also the fact that you're asking users to spend time with the software for the next couple of weeks to speed up things I think makes me an ideal candidate as I said I really don't have much to do in the coming few weeks.
Q. Is there a feature in Wedge that you're most interested in? Something you'll focus your testing on, etc... Or just something you're just excited to use!
A. I'm quite eager to test out the admin-side of Wedge. Also quite excited to study the templates as I plan to design skins for Wedge in the near future.
