Please do well to let us know when this is coming out. It is the main reason why my smf forum is not yet converted.
Thanks.

If you are working on this, it would be cool to have an option that would disable ads to members of a specific membergroup(s).

Is anyone working on this plugin?  I need a way to recover the cost of running my forum.

did anyone find a solution?

a simple blocks manager enabling us to paste HTML / PHP code for ads would be great. or atleast a portal that lets us add some blocks to different sides of the forum if not in between posts. this is among the basic features to switch the content and user base to wedge from smf.

Just checking again if anyone is working on an add management solution.  Do you think the new plug-in feature that allows for SMF like mods would let us use the ad management mod for SMF?  I will test.  I want to open another forum but the domain name is considered premium and costs quite a bit.  I won't be able to use Wedge if I can't find a way to pay for the forum.

I don't think anyone is working on this.

I'm a bit rusty myself, and still fighting over the idea of allowing forums to make money off the software I worked on for 4 years, when I don't even get to get paid for it... :-/ (Seriously, I've received like $20 in donations in the last 4 years...)

The new feature is intended for modding source files only, although I've resumed work on doing this for loadTemplate as well. Which has the added benefit of getting rid of an admin flag, yay...

I understand Nao.  I am not trying to make money out of your software, my forums are free, but you know that running a forum costs money.  I am just trying to recover the cost of providing a free service.  I am willing to pay for the plug-in.

I honestly believe wedge will really archive great success in the number of forum owners running their forum on wedge if the ad management plugin is implemented. Not just an ad management plugin, but a plugin that can accommodate ads display even on a mobile device or wireless device.
