Area: BBCode
Feature: Private tag
Developer: Nao
Target: users
Status: 30% (working but not committed; some features need to be added.)
Comment:

Use the 'private' tag inside a post to make sure only some people can read a portion of your message. This is different from the spoiler tag, as the portion will not be hidden, but completely removed from the message for those who can't read it.

Oh, we probably have, we've discussed an awful lot and I know I've forgotten a decent % of it by now.

I've forgotten an even higher % myself!
That's why I keep thinking we should talk, then work, then talk again, then work again etc, instead of trying to determine everything first (the Jaelta syndrom :P)
Thankfully, that's what we do most of the time...

Or as BOFH put it, you can either have 'analysis, design, feedback, analysis, design...' or just go straight into implementation!

Is your blog part of the 'analysis' or the 'implementation' part?

My blog is my way of getting the analysis and design parts out of my system so I can get implementation done.

You can specify a list of user IDs. Otherwise it'll be visible only to your friends list.
I think one friend list is not enough, there should be more friend lists. So in your plugin idea you can select a friend list, rather than all your friends in the list.

That's the idea -- we could use custom groups in the params.
However, I doubt this feature will make it into Wedge final... Maybe for 2.0, or maybe simply as a plugin. Heck, it's pretty good plugin material actually...
