Support / Re: error 500 after server change

this is the response from support
On reviewing the error details when detailed errors are enabled it appears this issue is being caused by FastCGI. FastCGI settings can not be disabled or changed on a Windows hosting account. To resolve this issue you will need to either modify your scripting to no use FastCGI or switch to a Linux account if you do not have a specific need for Windows.

The Pub / will there be a slideshow for zoomedia in the beta release?
« on February 26th, 2014, 09:08 PM »
sorry if this has been asked before. i looked at past discussions and there was some talk of licence issues with highslide. i am curious as to whether there will be a zoomslide coming up with the beta release.
no pressure though

Archived fixes / Re: Some thoughts on notifications
« on February 8th, 2014, 09:14 AM »
i would prefer a notification that changes colour (orange to gray) when you click on it but still show the number of unread posts, if a new notification comes in it would then revert to the other colour.(orange) with option to mark all as read
the colour changes would definitely catch your eye.

Archived fixes / error 2035 on media player in linked topics
« on February 6th, 2014, 08:41 PM »
i am not sure if this has been reported or fixed , but when i upload an album and create a linked topic. the player shows an error #2035 on the display clicking play only reveals the 1st image.
on the positive but i can still cycle through them with the ff button and going to the actual album is ok...although i miss the slide show buttons on the actual pop up img

i tried the codeyear, google codecademy
you get short exercises to work on. i find it good. currently learning the basics of functions in javascript.
@Nao thats impressive that you taught yourself, i like the way you write your code it makes it easy to follow for a noobie like me.

yeah solved, i am not sure if this would have caused it
go daddyQuote i changed it to php 5.4 as it was set at 5.3 and it worked.
go daddy
PHP 5.3 is our default version. PHP version 5.4 is available and meets our stability and security requirements. Version 5.2 isn’t actively supported
