Importing SMF mods into Wedge is quite easy, but there needs to be an equivalent feature in Wedge ;)

unless the display name wasn't changed we could pick up the member's id within the import process.(one extra sql query per row in wedge_messages)

Some suggestions:
Forum - Boards -> should be named "Categories and Boards"
Media - About -> should be moved elsewhere (e.g. combined with action=credits)
Plugins - Packages (old) -> should be removed or at least made hidden.
PS: the side bar is broken within the admin center screen.

to be fair, I've only ported my old WP to SMF converter in one hour to match the new importer structure, the initial developement (checking out the table structure, writing the script etc) took me IIRC five or six hours at all (don't know exactly).
