Support / How I can set a forum read only ?

Hello all ;D

I have a "old" Wedge Forum, that I would set for the users read only. Now, how I can this, that the regristriered user can read the old postings, but can not write pn etc. pp. OK I can set the rights, but is very hard work  ...

I hope I had right write, what I would ;D

I have replace the querystring.php with the old file. They bug is not fix ..

But I will as test install wedge over a another domain ..

Ok, I have send a mail to the support and his the answer ..


Wir haben den Sachverhalt für Sie geprüft und konnten hierbei feststellen, dass die fehlerhafte Umschreibung damit zusammen hängt, dass zu
viele interne Umschreibung vorgenommen werden. Die genaue Fehlermeldung diesbezüglich lautet wie folgt.

Hmmm .. I have in my Domain Options, that I can redirekt a mailadress, when the adress not give. So that is Catchall E-Mail ... but can this a issues from the import over smf ?

I will make a test with my another domains ..

Hello ;D

I not know, is this a bug or not, but I make fractalforums.de comes a Server 500 Error message, with www comes not. In my old forum have not this. So I think is must a bug from Wedge.

PHPVersion is the 5.4.16, is sharing webspace

I hope this is enough infos

OK, I have  a  another wedge git version from 29.05 .. no install issues

hi ;)

I have my forum by a german hosting company, domainfactory. The Company has very fast servers and I have no problems with wedge. At time I have testforum www.linuxsoftboard.de, but I will in the next days converterd a mybb forum to wedge. I have make test and that what I say, have no problems is fast so a my anothers forums. In the mybb forums are lot of pictures.

Ok, I have now import my mybb forum over smf. At first I have import in a SMF forum an then imported to Wedge ;D

Is a long way, but I think is good way ;D

Ab 10 Beiträge wird meine Sig sichtbar .. ok, ist einleuchtend ;D

Ok das mit der andere DB backup hat nicht geklappt, da kommt dieselbe Error Message

Inwieweit wurde der Importer eigentlich getestet ?

Aber trotzdem erstmal danke fürs helfen ;D

Nachtrag: Ich werde mal ein Versuch über SMF machen, mal obs funktioniert ..

Nein, habs anders gemacht, hab mein forum auf die Db von dem Wedge db gesetzt. Das Script ist durchgelaufen, danach kam diese Fehlermeldung

Unknown column 'message_labels' in 'field list'

Ich glaube in Mybb 1.6.13 haben die einige Änderungen vorgenommen, ich werde es mal mit der 12er versuchen, da hab ich noch ein backup.

Mal was anderes, warum wird meine Sig nicht mehr drangehängt ?

Na das macht es ja einfacher ;D

ne eigentlich nicht, hab die mybb datenbank genommen und den prefix umbenannt und dann halt in der wegde db importiert. Das ist ja das seltsame, das passwort ist richtig. Aber ich werde das morgen nochmal durchspielen, ist schon ziemlich spät ..

The error MySQL gave was: 'SELECT command denied to user 'db72203_25'@'local3' for table 'mybbff_users'

I not know, what is wrong, I have the datenbank from mybb imported in the datenbank from the wegde forum.
