Yeah, the trailer hardly gives anything away. A teaser, really.

Thanks for adding the spoiler tag, btw.

The spoiler above keeps popping up. I have no doubts as to its validity anymore, really: official Twitter accountBlogtor Who

Unrelated: for those who haven't seen it yet: The Roar of Our Stars — beautiful fanart by Alice X Zhang.

PS: can someone please fix that spoiler tag in Nathan's post above?

Or the Dutch flag. Which is where it all started, of course.[1] ::)
 1. Well, that's what my teachers were telling me in primary school. Not sure what to believe, to be honest. Probably loads of nationalist pride on their part.

You know, you might just want to put that in a spoiler tag. Especially considering your post five replies earlier. Kthnx.

And the Christmas special is going to be the mid-series point...
Oh I see. Must've missed that.

And where is your spoiler coming from...?

Re: spoiler captions, hmm... Did you try putting them between double quotes...?
Yes, I did. That didn't work either.

I removed the extra bits manually. ;)

Oh, since it was the default on the Noisen-ish Wedge.org, I assumed it was a design experiment of sorts. I appreciate the innovation, hence I felt a bit sorry for not liking it.

:edit: Aaron, did you enable sidebar menus about 15 minutes ago, then disabled them...?
Yes, actually, I did. Was curious as to what they looked like. Decided I prefer the dropdown menus, sorry!

Logo image URL: ----> default material. If theme doesn't want to use it, they can add a theme option to ask for another logo that fits their needs.
Hmm, I disagree on this one... Most of the team, you're likely to switch images per theme anyway, because your logo is just not in the right dimensions or (background) colours.

Forum width: --> completely default stuff... (heck, I'd be tempted to remove this entirely, and leave it up to custom.css...)
I'm aboard the discard boat, myself.

Okay, seriously... I see absolutely no 'logical' theme option in this.
Well, they're all theme-related options ... If they're not consistent throughout all themes, they have no place in $settings, if you ask me. But I gather you're planning to change all that.

She won't. Apparently she'll be introduced in the Christmas special, after

Nice find. As am I!

:edit: FWIW, it looks like spoiler captions of more than one word in length are broken.

I really don't understand the pessimism. Aside from a barbie-doll-like photo I saw on SFX Magazine's site, she seems nice enough, really. Certainly not your average blonde actress with the IQ of a goldfish. As the guys over at SFX put it:

Once again, Tom Baker’s hopes that the Doctor should be accompanied by a talking cabbage have been dashed.
I'll judge her when I've seen an episode or two. Looking forward to the next series, actually. [1]
 1. Yes, I know she won't be in it, yet.

Especially in the Kyodai Mahjongg days -- SVN stuff didn't exist, and it was a PITA to archive my sources every time I did an important change... Only to realize that another minor change broke the code and I couldn't find it.
I hate to break it to you, but CVS (SVN's predecessor, in a way) has existed since 1990. I completely understand the frustration though -- I know I'd have saved myself loads of it had I known of its existence ten years ago. :P

Guys you have no idea how much trouble it was to keep Wedge compatible with IE6 for all this time. It doesn't look great,
I honestly don't understand why you still bother. ;)

By the way, is it just me, or is the initial wave of smileys on the post screen a bit excessive? :P The amount of smileys was much smaller before the conversion.
