Private customisation is a separate topic again. Usually that involves a third party designer or developer, who will use other resources like PMs to negotiate - nothing we need to deal with.
This I agree.
 ...

On the first note, yes some people are ungrateful, if they feel they are a bit left-out, then they should 'upgrade'. Simple!

I was looking for performance point of view between then not features. Not the biggest fan of IPB because they have turns of features I will never use and to make it worse, they are all in the core, all these makes IPB much slower than Xenforo.
Thanks anyway.

$50 per year, access to their private helpdesk as well as access to the Charter members' private board. Before SMF put itself on Github, charter members used to receive pre-release versions of SMF more frequently than the public did but that doesn't happen any more.

Mostly it's just a way for you to officially support them should you want to, because the offerings these days probably aren't worth it (better support publicly for example)
Then I suggest Wedge should do something like that. As of the private support, I votes it. Many owners of Big Boards are too proud to be coming out public asking for help and I aso believe some forum owners sometimes needs help for private customization, do it public and hundreds of others will just want to look exactly like you.
Thanks.

What do you mean 'a little insight'? Didn't you see the ENORMOUS posts I did for IPB last night?
No,by the little insight in relation to IPB I mean you should do a little comparison between Xenforo and IPB, just like you did in MYBB and SMF in the second (?) system visitation.
Thanks.

@Arantor
Can you please shed more light in the Chartered Membership in SMF? What are the requirements and gains?
Thanks.

That's 'dangerous' combination. I have never met French webmaster online or saw a popular French forum though.
I like them as long as the goofy images some people use are
kept to a reasonable size. As long as members can check a
box if they don't want to see them I don't see removing them
for everyone. If an asshat is making a sig that you don't like
just remove it and send them a PM as to why.
I've used sigs to make protests at other forums too when the
staff are being idiots. I know bad boy.
I know somebody doing exactly that right now on ... that
other forum.
And most people uses it in spamming, drawing users attention to the image, the image may not be flashy but the text will be. I don't like drawing traffic and then losing it on members with few posts, I know about signature permission but the fact is - I don't like signatures expecially ones with images. Most places I used it was text based and it's just for back links.
Talking of 'revolution', there are other ways like starting witty threads, personal texts.

I can't see myself looking at IPB bloated and pretty slow, xenforo is much better. Burning Board, doesn't offer anything unique (to me) and the name alone is scary :) but yes, system visitation will not be bad.I will like to see why Germans are jumping to their ship.

Whatever, I have prepared my instances ready for the fresh installation, I have my ideas though not free to spend hours online in this time around.
Whatever licence you guys are considering, never give those bunches of lazy guys chance to turn your work into personal gain. See also what happened between punbb and fluxbb ( I don't know much though).
After sometimes of reading and testing wedge via user interface I feedback to give... Maybe tomorrow, when I can squeeze out time to boot my pc. I hate typing with mobile phones. Good work here!

Voted Vanilla. I will like the system visitation, opted to use it in this forum http://campusng.com as I think it suites the forum better than smf. I will also like unbiased review,it may not be now, maybe later.

I don't like forum signatures and always remove the code from the display template. It always serves as a bid distraction especially the ones with big flashy images and also looks ugly on mobile templates.

I know about username hover but I think post should be shown while others 'hidden'.
The bad behavior mode is not good, in my country, the ISPs are sharing ip address and rotating it among millions of users. If Tony uses IP address 20.201.237.20 in spam software like xrummer.
Millions of people who will use IP address 20.201.237.20 will be blocked. Thant's why auto anti spam blocker is always a bad idea.
Another reason why I like Mybb is the ability to edit the template files in the admin panel and the shortcodes are so easy to work on.
