Airtel?
Please don't mind my aged brain. I mean wordpress. The keyword in question that ranked me was Airtel. Sorry for the mix.
That's what you get from getting old. :)
I understand you, it's based on the content and keyword management (as in blogger managing his contents well).
I was thinking that Google may be favoring Wordpress powered blog.
Thanks for the explanation.

Or maybe Airtel minimized query than other cms and forum softwares. I remember in the month of May/June. Two of topics on my forums where ranked 1st respectively on Google. There was a serious and huge traffic flow in my forum. This lead to frequent 'death' of my sql, many members complained on this and I think Google got the clue as those topics that were highy ranked are now where today in Google others mainly wordpress website overtook and remained on top. The lesson I learnt on this is that most forum softwares are highly rankd  but fails to retain the spot. While wordpress they trust., I may be wrong though.

Off-topic / Is Wordpress actually Most SEO CMS?
« on August 22nd, 2013, 03:51 PM »
There many hype following wordpress in various websites, forums etc which  relates to webmasters/SEO that Wordpress is the most Search Engine Friendly cms. I have my doubt initially but I decided to do my own testing. I downloaded and install in a newly purchased .com domain name, virtually no backlink apart for a few from my blogger blog. I am surprise to see it rank high with two weeks in both Bing and yahoo search No.3! Not that ranked in Google as I believe Google will pick it up in the next update. Do I add my keyword is celebrity and entertainment related which means more competition.
How do wordpress do this?

Maybe this is not the right place but reading on my iPad 4 the name of the contributor and the title of the topic are on the Same line.
It's the way it was programmed. Personally, I prefer something like this
topic title by {poster} on {date}. Avater Removed in Mobile theme! Cc @N

The Ajax bug.... Never happened to me, really.
Then again, Opera Mini is NOT part of my mobile toolset, and I have no plans to change this: Opera Mobile is so much better, and even then, it's not as good as Chrome Mobile, so if you have an Android device, I'd simply recommend using Chrome, which is here to stay, unlike Opera Mini, because I really, really don't trust Opera for keeping Presto around, and worse, getting it up to date with today's standards, as they've already shifted all their efforts to Blink...
I don't like opera mini too but chunk of my website users are accessing it with opera mini. Too sad :(

Features / On Mobile Theme...

Nice work so far,  great improvement on the mobile theme. Fit's my 4.5' android screen well.
My little observation on using the mobile phone (with opera mini browser) in accessing wedge.org
* Works better this time, the width fits my 4.5' screen well. I believe it will do well in  smaller screen.
* The ajax function not working on opera mini and when the page reloads, it doesn't work at all
Eg. If you click 'action' it  will reload the page and do nothing. This bug is not in other browsers like default html android browser, ucweb or opera mobile.

Off-topic / Re: Noisen.com?

What I like on Noisen.com is not the layout ( I actually hates the layout because it looks cluttered and bet me it will confuse an average user). I like many things about it
The link structure general gives the power to look beyond message board, more like modern forum or even social network. The sub domain patterns are also great -  users profile are linked to my.nosien.com/username, boards and topics have their own subdomain, also does aeva videos.

@Arantor
I know exactly how it works and I also agree with you. I was just asking question on the OP's request, rss to feed works best when you post each feed as new topic. And What I was asking is the possibility of splitting one feed item into two, one as the first topic and the other as a reply ie only one reply per thread but again, it look ever 'robotic' so it's better to leave it at the each feed per thread level.

@Nao
That depends on the niche, I know many forums right here in Nigeria that some members will go to news website, copy the news post it and the users will give tons of replies to the posted item, isn't this what rss feed to post does automatically? There this guy I know that is doing exactly that now and he is making tons of money through adsense clicks, he is using Vbulletin for it see his website

-sigh- This is a request for a plugin, not an existing plugin. Sure it's possible, there are two mods for SMF that do it, there is no reason why Wedge can't do it but I don't want to see in the core for avoiding duplicate content penalties.
Thanks, I have seen one of the modes in SMF

But there is no topic reply function in it. I am just thinking on the logistic for the REPLY. Will it split the same feed item into two, one for the main topic while the other for the reply? Any idea on adding both topic and reply will work?

I like it, why not be cliché and call it trending topics
Exactly and I don't mind replacing recent post with it and maybe create a menu for recent post.

Off-topic / Re: Rename 'Notify'?

Yes watch topic is also great, just any translation that will make it stand out, I have a feeling that this nice forum feature is greatly underused and once the potential is realised, it will be a very nice community feature.
Thanks.

Off-topic / Rename 'Notify'?
« on June 14th, 2013, 12:27 PM »
The truth is I don't know how many times I clicked on 'Notify'/'Subscribe' in any forum I am posting, recently I came across a Forum that did it in different way, it just 'Say Follow this Topic'. I gladly clicked it and it got me thinking, why not use Follow Topic instead on 'Notify'/'Subscribe'. I know it's the same thing but a few word changes may work more than we expect. The ajax confirmation will say something like this Are you sure you want to follow this topic?  in place of Are you sure you wish to enable notification of new replies for this topic?
  I am also thinking this
* Subscribe/Notify sounds old school, modern social networking use something like Follow.
* They is also a felling that once you click 'Notify'/'Subscribe' your mailbox will be filled with spam etc.
I also know this can simply be done by editing language file, just suggestion.
Thanks.
