Bug reports / Changing Quick Reply to don't show by default breaks Reply, New Topic, etc.

I wanted the Full Editor to be the default option instead of Quick Reply. Under Member Options I made the following change and saved it.

Now Quick Reply is minimized by default, but Reply does not work at all.

I changed the settings back to what they were before and Reply still does not work.  I finally broke my sandbox!

I can't change any settings.  For example I want to change the popup settings to Yes, but as soon as I click Save everything reverts back to Keeps Members' own choices.  I checked a few profiles and the notifications settings for personal messages did not change after clicking Save.

Plugins / Plugin suggestion - Prevent ALL CAPS

IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A PLUGIN THAT WOULD PREVENT THIS.  I hate it when some users use all caps.

Archived fixes / Reply to Blogs does not work on Blogs main page

On the Blog page the Reply option does not work on new posts.  Clicking on Reply does nothing.  You have to go in the post itself and then reply from there.  As soon as the Blog post has at least one reply, the Reply option on the main page then works for that particular post, but not for other posts with no replies.

The Pub / Should Mods be removed before migration?

When migrating a SMF forum to Wedge, is it recommended that all SMF Mods and their data be removed before migrating?  I see no reason on bringing over to Wedge data from Mods that will no longer be used.

Bug reports / Posting pictures on posts generates 8 errors

I finally figured out how to set the Media permissions so users can post pictures.  Pictures are getting posted correctly, but they generate eight errors:

Archived fixes / Membergroup Settings - Badges

The first issue is cosmetic.  When setting the badge options for the last member group, not all the options are visible when clicking on the dropdown arrow.  Workaround is to use the keyboard up or down arrow keys to cycle through the options.


The second issue is with the badge options when configured as shown:


With those settings I expect only the 5 red dots badge to show up for the administrator, but Wedge is displaying both the administrator badge and the badge based on the number of posts.

Features / General Options - No text in notifications

Can you please apply this setting also to personal messages notifications?  My admin email address gets replies to private messages all the time.

Not sure is this is caused by migrating a site or by the fact that SMF uses star.gif and Wedge uses rank.gif.  One more thing, even though I fixed this by using the correct gif files from the assets folder, the neither the star or the badges show up for the users.

The Pub / Sidebar - Can it be disabled while in a board?

More feedback from my users.  They like the sidebar with stats quick access, etc. on the home page, but they prefer that gone once they go inside a board to read or write posts.  They prefer the full screen editor.  I think I agree with them.

This is a request from my users playing with Wedge.  I have the Join Date and Location in Posts mod installed on the SMF forum.
