Postgresql fix = Oldiesmann, I guess? :P
You got him all figured out. :) Yes, it was Oldies since there was a bug report for it recently which was signed off and fixed by him. (It was something to do with custom smilies not loading/sorting right)

Kind? They were KIND!? The world's ending! An airplane is coming at me!

Well, when Oldies asked me to remove the link/logo, after I replied with questioning about someone else's sig, he went so far as to threaten to do it himself if I didn't comply. That sounds very familiar.

By the way, I see some of you have wedge in your signature. Can anyone have that?
It''s allowed here but condoned over at sm.org because they apparently don't allow links to competitors. Does that mean they want a monopoly?  Is it a part of their act to shove Wedge away forever? Or an innocent PR stunt?

I went ahead and used the Wedge in my sig without bothering to ask
Oh noez, we neeedz yer permishon firsts!

Nope. I think they settled on bi-monthly dev builds.

Wedge's CAPTCHA is very easy to read. I have failed a lot of SMF CAPTCHAs, even those set to medium complexity, and for Wedge? Zero! Make of that what you will.

My site is also on RC3 and I don't intend to upgrade because everything works flawlessly. Maybe if I'm bored enough to fire Cushing I'll diff in the new hooks so I can install SD. And EP, if I ever finish it. :P

Oh, speaking of the helpdesk, would a plugin be able to sufficiently transform a department into something resembling a tracker by customizing the ticket statuses and renaming the $txt variables much like Nao did for here?

Dive into Linuxland? I'm on Windows right now and it is irritating me to no end... okay so Linux fits me better.

I don't get why it would return the topic ID? Seems illogical that a function for creating a post would return a topic ID ESPECIALLY when its primary use is to make a new post. I think I'm repeating myself here...
