The Pub / Re: Wedge translation pt_PT (Git questions)
« on January 10th, 2014, 09:26 PM »
I called the folder portuguese-pt exacly for that reason.
I'm trying git in a vps to see if i can learn something about it and im already crazy on how complicated it is to just overwrite a file.
The admin.english.php is already translated but i need to go to school so later ill review it. I'll bump this topic as soon as i make some considerable progress.
I just need to watch the repo language to know if you commit a change to a file right?

Features / Re: One theme to rule them all?

Quote from Nao on January 5th, 2014, 07:53 PM
Yeah, I *think* I remember SMF having a reason for capitalization, but I really can't remember it.
I'll go for all lowercase in the final version.

A more radical structure (and naming scheme) for the src folder could be:

/src       <-- empty
  /php     <-- Sources
  /css     <-- skins
  /js      <-- scripts
  /lng_fr  <-- languages/French
  /lng_en  <-- languages/English
  /tpl     <-- Themes/default

Probably a bit scary, though...
It reminds me of phpbb2 dunno why :hmm:

I guess you'll need to wait until there is a beta version for the public to start translating, since alot of things can change while nao is working on the project.

Other software / Re: SM.org compromised

At school i have a similar system like that, we have to change our password every 2 weeks, this is a website were we send our works and exams, if we dont login in 2 weeks, and happens quite often since we dont have exams our works to send every 2 weeks, we dont need to change our password, but if we do, the first time we login after we change the password 2 weeks later weneed to change it again, plus we have to use a password  with at least 20 caracters, thats why i use a program called keypass, i can generate diferent and strong passwords, save them and reduce the risk of happening the same that happen to that sm,org admin.
Another way but i think it can get a little anoying is the system that steampowered.com uses with user accounts, asks for a small code when we change computer or ip address.
