myphpadmin does not have the option to grant any privileges, restricted by the host because i am on a budget shared hosting blah blah according to online support
option 1 is to switch hosts (any suggestions)
option 2 is there a way to manually transfer the members and other important settings only without importer
option 3 send password reset to all members and start afresh.

i was just playing around with the settings and when iclick on forum profile it results in internal server error

« on January 27th, 2014, 08:35 PM »Are you sure you entered the right paths..? Because to me, it sounds like you tried to import a Wedge forum into another Wedge forum. (Or worse, into a SMF forum... :P)

Help
i tried to do a reinstall on a new database but i am getting error msg.
The installer has detected that you have wedge already installed.
Pls delete existinh database tables and replace settings.php
i have done this but errot still persisting
deleting the folder with go daddy admin panel was leaving some residual files. when i used 3rd party ftp to delete the folder worked like a charm. back up and running

my server was at first "actively denying any connection" the first 3 times. i just kept retrying and finally it installed.
i havent tried the importer yet, but so far i am loving the look of the admin area. the layout looks sleek and easy to navigate. :eheh:

I cant wait to try wedge, most people who have used aeva with smf would definitely jump ship as well
