You did fine, though my mind is fuzzy so I might "get" it. Why I replies so I can think on it. Hard to get the right balance for the UI.

This is a placeholder reply while I think on it. I don't think English is Antes native language.

Meh, MyBB is okay I guess. It feels like an outdated vB install for obvious reasons.

Well, I originally wanted to remove it and make it a plugin but others disagreed with me, haha. My view on such things is that things being made plugins means I can work on them and develop them individually without having to worry about waiting for another main-line release date. I already removed SMF's calendar and made it a plugin.
I wish it where a plug in, not only because there are sites I would not install it, but not being core would make it easier to make improvements well like you said haha. No need for me to repeat. Weird iPad keeps changing need to Ed.

Alrighty.
I do like the idea of a agragated feed or wall. Subscribed boards could show new topics in your feed, thoughts posted on your wall could be shown friends thoughts could be shown. On sites with walls inhaled some notifications could be shifted to the wall instead, friends new thoughts for example would then make more sense in the feed then in the notification center.

Notifications could have some neat uses if a user is active (online) they could get a notification about a reply or like to a topic instead of an email. Or if it's a site I goto often I might rather have no mail from the site but would love notifications that a thought or thread was replied to or liked. Say someone made an arcade plug in that plugin could send you a notification for a new high score in a game you had the high score or new games in subscribed genres.

If your friends with someone could get notifications for new thoughts and topics too.

I would not hate having a wall feed though as an admin and user I would be more interested in the notifications.

Just to add... the browser has feeds built in but there are a bunch of feeds that the browser may not pick up, like per-topic feeds which IIRC are not indicated by the header.
Very true though I hardly use those.

1. Thoughts
There are no configurable permissions for it at present, nor is there any way to disable it. Required permissions: add thought, edit (own/any) thoughts, delete (own/any) thoughts, reply to (own/any) thoughts.
TBH I didn't think I would like thoughts, I was wrong. I have nothing to add to the todo list item :P

2. Likes
There are no permissions for likes, nor any ability to disable it. I'm thinking that we also want options for whether likes are enabled or disabled, whether people can like their own posts or not and whether likes are only for the first post (i.e. liking the topic) or not.
Liking ones own post should be off by default. Should be able to turn em off though I never would. I like the idea of liking a topic, might be useful to sort by that value. Granted I also like being able to like all posts, but I am greedy.

3. Feeds
There's no way to have feeds active but disable the feed block in the sidebar. Do we need an option for that somewhere?
My browsers have feeds built in so the blocks are useless. That said I don't use the built in feed functions so having the link is a nice touch. Yeah I contradicted myself.

4. Quick access
There's no option to disable that. I'm thinking it might be a useful option. Also, might be nice to offer a hook for extending it so that plugins can add other areas to it.
Not sure I would disable it, but I might want to expand on it with a plug-in or like you said have plugins add there own stuff.

O/T: I HATE Thank you type features.

When I think of my Avatar there are very few sites I would want multiple avatars in the sense mentioned here. I could see My Avatars being an album that might be accessible via my profile. Maybe get real fancy have setting to "share" (allow others to use) the avatar. The only time I could see multiple avatars (per post) or board would be for a multi user site like Nao's site.

Features / Re: User configurable CC email accounts
« on May 16th, 2012, 11:15 PM »
I get the corporate shared account thing, they think it will be easier. Wait until Fred forgets the password or accidently changes the email to his own. Groups are much easier to deal with, create one for each corporation assign permissions and users and go on your marry way, so when Tim gets fired or moved to another department only one person is affected Tim. Fred, Jim, and Nancy don't have to learn a new password or worry that Tim figured out the new one after moving to a competitor.

I don't like the underlines on the links in the username menu. It doesn't fit with the rest of the menus.
