Bug reports / 'Thoughts' privacy not functioning properly
« on March 22nd, 2014, 06:47 PM »
Nao, you'll probably remember that the 'thought' [in the screenshot] was initially a 'Public' thought. But then, it was changed to be viewed only by 'Members'. I logged out of Wedge and the thought seems to be visible in threads.

The Pub / Upcoming dark theme for Wedge
« on February 23rd, 2014, 02:44 AM »
So, I thought I'd share the design of my upcoming theme for Wedge. Since Wedge doesn't have any dark themes yet, I'm taking the liberty of creating one. It's based on 'Wilde'. The design is still in its initial stage which means a lot can change but please do share thoughts as to how I can improve it - that is the whole point I'm starting this thread.

Peace.

Plugins / [Plugin idea] Quote highlighted text
« on July 18th, 2013, 08:14 PM »
So today I registered on a forum that was running on vBulletin and it had a pretty handy feature (a plugin, I'm assuming) - quote highlighted text. How it worked was, basically, you would highlight the particular text you wished to quote and then a 'quote' button would appear right above the highlighted text. You then clicked on the appeared button and the text goes straight into the 'quick reply' text box. Pretty neat, I thought.
I've attached a screenshot just in case.

Archived fixes / Why does Wedge look different for me?
« on January 10th, 2013, 03:52 PM »
So from day 1 I installed Wedge 0.1 Alpha 2 I've noticed that the layout hasn't looked the way it supposed. I never really bothered to report it because I thought it was supposed to look that way being an Alpha in it's early stage but then I look at fellow member Powerbob's site and see that it's not supposed to look that way so what's up with this? Here's a link to my test server?

Archived fixes / No 'reply' button in 'thoughts' (all) page
« on January 8th, 2013, 06:23 PM »
The on hover thought 'reply' button doesn't appear in the http://wedge.org/do/thoughts/ page. I don't know if that's intentional or if you guys are unaware of it?

Archived fixes / Minor glitch on 'thoughts'
« on November 4th, 2012, 02:20 AM »
As you can see there seems to be no sort of spacing between time and poster/board.
Happens with all themes.
Strangely though this bug does not appear on this site so I don't know if I should be reporting this at all.

Archived fixes / Media buttons broken up
« on October 24th, 2012, 07:41 AM »
Not quite sure why but buttons in the Media section seem to be broken up into two lines and there's a tiny scroll bar at the far right.
Using the most recent version of Chrome.

Archived fixes / Large images jut out of post area
« on October 9th, 2012, 03:55 PM »
I'm not a regular here at Wedge although I try to be so I don't know if this has already been talked about but I thought I'd mention it anyway. As the screen below shows, large embedded images seem to jut-out of post area.

Tested on: Chrome & Firefox.
Assumption: This may have something to do with the theme Wuthering

Archived fixes / 'Home' button bug
« on April 13th, 2012, 11:24 PM »
I just noticed a bug with the "Home" button. Say for an instance you are on the "Search" page and you click on the "Home" button it brings you back to the "Search" page. If you are on the "Media" page and you click on the "Home" button, it brings you back to the "Media" page.  Basically the "Home" button isn't functioning as it should. Issue persists on both browsers, Chrome and Firefox.
Just thought I should report this.

Archived fixes / [Fixed] Displaying incorrect topic views
« on March 19th, 2012, 10:44 AM »
So I was going through the "The Pub" board and I noticed the first two topics that were stickied had 1 view which seems to be impossible because the topic itself had 17 replies. Just thought I'd report this. :)

:edit: Arantor: Updated title.
:edit: Nao: Fixed img link.

Features / Spice up registration page?
« on February 28th, 2012, 01:49 AM »
So I was wondering with SMF's current registration/agreement page looking extremely unappealing, users don't actually even take a moment to read what's on it because the text is so cluttered, there's so much to read, font is pretty very ordinary looking, not much color and stuff like that. Then there's the registration which again looks very stale. Why do I find these pages important, it may not be the first impression the user gets of the site but it something that will stick. Add some ajax features to it maybe?
