don't get me wrong but it can be unnecessary distraction for developers, maybe someone else make it as a plug-in.

I think it's another attempt at the same thing, and not likely to be that successful. OpenID is still the best underlying system for implementing this.

BrowserID sounds really good, but I'm kind of confused on how it works. Good thing I'm not making websites that have a massive login requirement :)
