In other news, I'm honestly curious to see how many mod authors upgrade their mods to 2.0 final.

I don't think I will myself.

In one of them I already told them to stop asking for new features because I don't think I am going to continue developing it for SMF, as I normally don't have time to write code for software I don't use:

So maybe I will just wait until somebody ask and I will use the opportunity to answer again something similar.  :eheh:

With any luck, updating your mods for Wedge should be a one-off process since, with any luck, add-ons will be much more stable between versions :)

I keep most of my sites pretty low maintenance by not using many mods but the one site is going to be a pain for that, it took me a day and a half to perform the Rc3 to RC5 upgrade seeing how I did it without taking the site offline, and I bet the final upgrade will be similar too :/

Still, after that, one more jump to Wedge...

There was one point I felt I had to answer.
Correct, at least that's the plan - no sense writing two importer libraries when they already wrote one...

As I was saying there, maybe I will do that importer or maybe not.

Once I have both importers in my hands (the one from 1.1.x to 2.0 and the one from 2.0 to Wedge) I will check in one of my forums what is easier for me.

It also will depend on the amount of people with the same problem I have. (A lot of forums in 1.1.x). We will see.

I count the word wedge 25 time`s on smf.
Only 25 times? I am sure I have written that word there more than 25 times myself.

Just an FYI, httpBL installs and runs fine in 2.0 Final.

I can confirm that and Stop Spammer is working as well.  It may have been something in my forum, but I did have to make one manual edit to get httpBL to install. It was one line in /Sources/managepermissions.php  The installer could not find
Code: [Select]
'view_stats' => array(false, 'general', 'view_basic_info'),
, but upon looking at the file, it was there.

Must have been because of another mod. I didn't have to edit anything to get it to install.

yea, I didn't research it, but I suspect it may have been the arcade mod that I installed before httpBL. I have followed the same procedure each time I upgraded to the next RC version. I always installed SP, the arcade, and then the anti spam mods. All other mods afterward were in no particular order ever.
