Third party DNS recursive resolvers (Google/OpenDNS/etc)

Question of the day: what DNS are you using? The one of your provider or third party DNS such as Google Public DNS or OpenDNS?
I'm undecided because there are a lot of pros and cons.. and I'm not completely sure that using for example Google Public DNS provide faster performance compared to "default" DNS.. expecially for users outside US!

What do you think? :)

Using my host's DNS for my website, and my provider's for myself... Never cared much about OpenDNS (although I did consider using it, I really never had noticeable problems with my default DNS.)
Never heard of Google Public DNS. I'm not sure I would want them to be aware of EVERY SINGLE of my website requests, though... "Oh, we're only offering this service because we don't know what to do with our gazillion dollars..." Yeah, and I'm the queen of England.[1]

My ISP's DNS resolver's suck I can't even visit my own website without having to use the IP address or use the hosts file to resolve it myself. I never got around to check to see if I could get it to resolve using a third party DNS service though.
