When we unite against a common enemy that attacks our ethos, it nurtures group solidarity. Trolls are sensational, yes, but we keep everyone honest. | Game Memorial

Now we know the dread Xmas holds for you; the orderly line of laptop bearing relations.
Haha, that bit was great.
We who understand nothing about coding, salute you.

Thank you :)

I do find it amusing, in a dark and twisted way, how people seem to think that programming is easy. It's as easy as writing a novel. Anyone can do it, but it takes skill to craft something that's effortlessly usable, hard to misunderstand or get away from, and when those who *do* do it, a large number of people seem to think they can imitate it without realising just how much effort really goes in...

"yes, but what about the previous 30 years of working their balls off 24/7, sacrificing family time etc"

Web programming is easy.
Anything is easy, really, when compared to Direct3D programming. :niark:

I tend to agree with the article, though :P

You can still make just as many WTFs with web programming as you can in D3D programming. The difference is, you can screw up more peoples' lives with web programming if you're not careful.

Yeah, but you didn't put yourself in a situation where you could compromise their identity, did you?
