I deliberately started out by going to one of their paid plans up front, because I wanted to manage through my domain ($34.95/yr) and that still ends up cheaper than my old hosting account.

I like how you picked the exact same kind of subscription as me. I too have my own domain. I use gmail for most internet signups and the like, and Fastmail for srsbusiness.

PROTIP: Aliases are godlike for making temporary e-mail addresses. Great for shady deals (as in, signups and people you don't trust to handle your address with care).

Gmail protip: use myaddress+myalias@gmail.com to get your own aliases... :eheh:
I guess spam harvesters will/would know to delete anything after the '+', but shh!
