Wedge submits reply on mobile

When I use Wedge on Mobile (Android) and write a ß, it submits the reply instantly.
Nothing wrong on desktop though.
It's a minor thing but may be important for your german users.

Sorry, can't reproduce. Using Android with Chrome.
Are you on default skin or wireless?

How come your ββββββ post doesn't have the Android icon next to it, then..? :-/

Also, could writing a 'β' simply be associated with typing Alt+S or maybe CtrlGr+S on a German keyboard? β is like 'ss', right..?

It's postet from my ASUS Fonepad with Chrome. Don't know why it's missing the icon...
ß is like ss right!
Will try it later on wireless skin. Posting was from Wilde. :)

It only happens in the message field though, I'm fine in the Subject field.
At least on my desktop Alt+S works everywhere, so I don't think that's it.

I *could* disable Alt+S code in the JS for mobiles, just 'to see'... (Heck, I could also hide the related help text, since you don't have an Alt key on mobile keyboards... No?)

I think it's safe to say I work for the Android community in spirit, and I try to remain compatible with iOS, even if Apple can kiss my ass. :P

And unfortunately (?), none of these two OSes offer an Alt key.

Basic UX rules would tend to say, though, that the feature should be available for these browsers, but by default, i.e., pressing the Return pseudo-key would automatically look for unclosed quotes.
