Cannot edit own posts.
« on July 10th, 2013, 05:10 PM »
Just now I tried to edit this post inline but got a "forbidden" error in red.  I decided to go through the more "time consuming" way and edit it with the edit page, but when I pressed post, I got the following errors:
Quote
Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in Sources/Notifications.php on line 38 (this was above the layout on the page, I also truncated the local path for security)

------

An Error Has Occurred!
Database error, given array of integer values is empty. (member)

Well, that's odd... :-/

1/ I didn't remember regular users could see the exact database error message, is this a Wedge special..?

2/ This shouldn't even be occurring...

3/ Really, it shouldn't.

Can you list your notification settings here..? (Add wedge.org to the URL.)
/profile/?area=notifications

1. There's a setting in the ACP for it. It doesn't differentiate over admins vs non admins.

2. The first error indirectly causes the second, since you can't opt in for a null notifier...

I'm at a loss...

I guess I'll have to create another of those test accounts, and test by FTP etc...

Okay, fixed...
Wasn't a Wedge bug; really, it was a mismatched file, i.e. I'd forgotten to update the Mentions plugin with the new notification code, and it was sending the wrong parameters as a result, hmm........
