Well, it indicates there's an error, but the question is... which is right? How many are there awaiting approval? How many are there awaiting activation?

So it's what's in the main menu itself that's wrong, not the counts for the individual tabs?

Yes. Looks like the count is wrong on my test site. However,
- Recount forum totals doesn't seem to touch it
- Doesn't look like registration updates it.
