Thanks.

Features / Re: Multiple Recycling Bins for different Categories/Boards?
« on January 27th, 2014, 09:20 PM »
Yeah someone like me will chose
Moderators
Cannot delete (hard delete).
Can soft delete (with admin option to hard delete the already soft deleted posts).
Can restore soft deleted.
We the forum admins will of course have permission to do everything in the forum. We are always in God mode :).

Somebody like me will always disable signatures.Does not look neat in mobile devices and could also be a very big distraction from the thread.

By autocratic mods I mean moderators and not plugins. That will be a good idea.
Thanks.
Thanks.

@Nao
No,I really like it. Hide the post from public with admin and mod permission to view and can restore it. Something like the 'post is hidden'. This will also checkmate some autocratic mods as they will not have the permission to hard delete posts, just soft delete. Will be a nice tool in a huge forum with multiple mods.

Moderation Filter is the the best thing I like about Wedge. Though it have a minor but it would be a total robotic moderator when fixed, will make Wedge a favourite software for large forums. The mobile theme is also superb. Pretty url is cool the Avea Media is not working on it (in my end) and so is website.com/~ username.

The part to the theme in the theme settings is wrong, it says website.com/Theme; this is not a correct part.

The Pub / Re: What I HATE in Wedge!
« on January 22nd, 2014, 02:31 PM »There isn't always enough space. But I get your point; at some point I wrote a script that would get stuff out of the menu until it reached the maximum available size, à la phpMyAdmin. But I didn't proceed with it because it was visible at page load time, and I prefer to avoid patrons to see what's going on in the kitchen.
Also, the mini-menus are all loaded from a complex, short JS structure in the HTML, so there's no Ajax involved here.
Thanks.

I also noticed this happens to logged in members, guest does not experience the css break.
:edit: Not really logged in members, only break when I logged in as the admin!

I unchosed 'allow members to chose their own theme' in Manage and Install under Themes and Layouts and it broke the css.

I don't like 'more' topic tool, as a user and admin. There is enough space for it, why not add the delete and edit there instead of more. To make the matter worse, many of my website users are using opera mini browser which I know does not load ajax lively hence a poor user experience. Don't get me wrong, it is a very good function but it can be 'harmful as well.
Still checking.

Installed to my shared hosting account @ Ipage.com with the following configuration
Platform Type: Debian
MySQL Version: 5.5.32
Perl Version: 5.8.8
PHP Version: 5.3.13
Installed smoothly and works like a charm.
Time to fire up my vps account :).
