Essentially it's a hacked up version of 'Switch Permissions'. What would be better is if this wasn't in the core but implemented as a plugin.

So, Pete! You're going through some issues in real life. It's never been easy for you these last couple of years, it's like everything's falling apart, month after month.
Since you're going to move this weekend and it must be hard on you, I just wanted to post a topic to encourage you.
I love you, Arantor! With big, manly love, I want to say you're a fantastic guy. I love your work, I love how you're never sure you're doing things correctly when really there's no one to match your work -- be it programming, new ideas, tech support or whatever. I love how you don't mind everytime I pick on you for fun or just when I'm upset. You're so much fun to be with, I always learn something new every day, you inspire so many of us and even when you're in super grumpy mode, there's always a smile on my face when I read your posts.
We love you Arantor, and I hope that this new change in your life is going to give you new opportunities and put an end to that vicious circle!
