Wow! Very hard to read, even harder to understand... :)
Please try the following:
Move your old forum to homedir/oldforum (or something else).
Copy Wedge to your homedir and start importing.
After the importer has finished, you should be able to use Wedge as expected and it's safe to delete homedir/oldforum.

Even thought my preferred language is English I am suddenly a "Membre Junior", others are "Membre Senior", and I think Moderator is spelt a bit odd too. I've refreshed and cleared my cache to no avail - is this happening for anyone else?
