Off-topic / Re: PHP IDE for windows

I use Geany. Not an IDE, but it does all I want. My favorite feature is automatically stripping trailing whitespace on save. Only thing I miss is find and replace in multiple files but for that I can fire up N++ under Wine (and it works too)

Other software / Re: What happend to Sinan?

Hey Lex, remember his post in the dev blog where he stated, or rather implied, that the overall public attitude he was hearing constantly demotivated him? I'll guess that's  the reason.

Also the official SMF kitty is now unofficial from the team page.

Maybe it could be best not to compare apples to oranges and concentrate on what is needed?

Hey, I just realized Firefox 4 has that resizable textarea feature from Chrome... Cool!
I think Safari had it first :P

I have yet to encounter that. But it's probably because I use 7-zip to handle the unzipping.
I use the same software. It happens after a prolonged uptime of a week or month. I have a habit of doing that :P

- It doesn't refresh the explorer panes when I unzip a file somewhere. I either have to hit F5, or change folder and then come back to the previous one... Ouch.
That bug has bitten me too on various occasions and it's not limited to Windows  :(

Yeah. I have always used $_GET and $_POST prior to SMF.

It looks as if $_REQUEST is disabled by default which might cause problems with "SMF since it uses that. But deep inside its bowels it declares $_REQUEST = $_GET + $_POST

One of these days im gonna take a european vacation and have a drink with ya. It is a benefit for me to learn from you. Maybe some day youll see the admiration for your work. Maybe not.
You're better off in your Texan cave. A two way plane ticket from Arizona to Texas is nearing $1k... who seriously has that much money to blow and not be hurting afterwards?

Eros: You can also edit SMF 1.1.x like that as well... if you keep to yourself.
