I need to breakdown and start trying to learn this stuff again. Is there a online source that starts at a very basic level?

The last time I worked around code was Pascal. If you include shell stuff I've played with it a little but the Pascal was back god almost 40 years ago. I got away from computers for years. Everything I knew about it is about as useful as my training in vacuum tubes is.

Thanks Arantor, that question has been driving me crazy forever. I've tried searching for the answer and even got curious enough to look at the code hoping something would jump out that my tired old brain could understand. Unfortunately it was all gibberish to me. I really need to try and learn some of these new fangled languages.

I mean it's like idiot level probably. But how does Tapatalk work? Are the messages going through their servers or does the app do the transformation off of your server?

Or (most likley answer) am I just the idiot I feel like and it's obvious?

Thank you Arantor, I had no idea the preview counted as a visit. Also the information on the cell towers cleared up several things for me.

Added: Back to the original topic. Please remove it. The number watchers will drive me up a wall yet.

Also if my idiot level questions annoy or take away from the discussion please remove or ignore them. It won't bother me at all.

Ok I admit I'm the bottom of the forum coding knowledge heap. Could you please give me some examples of why these are slewed? I have never liked them and never trusted them. This way I could have some ammo when one of the mods is gushing about them.

'can I puleeeeeease have a Friends badge!!!!!   :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Seriously though anyone who won't pay the amounts named isn't serious about the site they want it for. Heck I earned a $100 in six months off of a new forum. Even paying $20 for the plugin that would be a $80 profit.

Oh if I post here much you will find I have a off the wall sense of humor.

To change the subject for just a moment. I've followed this project since last summer off and on. I finally registered just because I could now like Arantors original post.

Keep up the good work folks. Some of us total code dummies really appreciate the effort you put into it.

I'm very patiently looking forward to the release. I may not be skilled enough to go live with it. However I will enjoy trying to figure it out.
