Sounds like an excellent idea to me. Especially the way some people like to leave their systems on multiple tabs.

Well if you can use a fat fifty plus year old idiot as a tester I'd be willing and ready. I've had SMF forums of my own since 2008. I used a few as a luser before that, not sure when I first used it.
I could probably get my mods to help me test it. I would not make it a totally live as in replacing one of my sites.
I have two reseller accounts and a couple of VPS's I can toss it up on (one openvz the other xen). With 30 plus domain names I think I could find one to use...maybe.
I'm retired so time just depends on what disasters hit the homestead. lol
I'm wanting to look at the admin sections and play with them. But mainly I'd like to dive in and see if I can break it.

I dunno I would toss in 20 or so just because I like the site and learn a lot here.
Heck I've donated to other open source projects for less reasons. Most of them I never even expected to use I just liked the direction they were going.

To be truly solved you have raise, butcher and process everything yourself. Heck I do it part of the time just to show the kids what real food tastes like. My one daughter hated eggs until I finally talked her into trying free range eggs. Now she asks if we have any real eggs in the house.
The biggest problem is it kills them on eating the food at restaurants and friends houses. With the first bunch of kids I would walk into the kitchen and they would start going "Real food! We're having Real Food today!"

I miss the foods in Europe. The stuff here in the USA is so over processed it kills the flavours and textures.

I switch around on most of the forums I'm on. i get tired of the same old thing all of the time.
For me the menus on the right hand side are awkward. But I'm left handed so that may play a big part in that.

Arantor I seem to remember a few of them where the user was basically saying you didn't know how the program worked when you tried to help them.
I really don't blame developers for getting disgusted and giving up on people after experiences like that.
There is an old Quad sitting in the corner that has had a few hard drives replaced. My wife says I wear them out installing and experimenting with OS's and scripts. It's just hooked into the house network enough for me to access it from my laptop. If I bork it totally Oh Shucks I wanted to try this new distro anyway. lol
French I don't mind popping up. I can sometimes remember enough to figure out what it means.
Side note. Nao all the mentioning of Garlic sausages has to be some kind of psych war ops. I miss small stuff like that here in the land of plastic food.

I'll admit I am bad about trying the do not do stuff just to see what happens.
But I do it on a spare computer here at the house. Not on a production server.
Some of the stuff I read on support forums saddens me for the future of the human race.
I love the ones on the hosting forums where they are crying about the servers being shut down 21 days after the due date.
