Features / Re: Calendar

what it should have... well... here is what I'd like to have in a calendar (reason and use vary a lot. have had a time where I could have used those functionality. trying not to repeat already posted idea's)
-personal calender? (per member?)
-event / meeting (call it what you like) owner + participant
-events linked to post / board (yeah... board!) (possible to link with blog stuff?)
-ability to specify time and not only date

have had more... currently not remembering all

I understand this thread to be a kind of brainstorming of what people could imagine to be within a calendar plugin. so this is my part ;)
(I'm well aware that making above things possible would rather be an extended plugin to what you are up to. it might be a lot but definitely not what a basic calendar plugin would be)

Maybe I should go for 16gb. 600 tabs is already too much for Opera to handle :p
and friends ask me why I should need ~50 tabs -.-
(12 gb on my tower btw :P)

what about.... mb_convert_encoding found some interesting stuff looking through the php manual. had to find a good way to handle those conversions as I had to deal with multiple databases and wanted to be sure that my file would be ok. (texts are in the database for translation purpose. so the user can add new stuff on his own. but I'm still using lang files because I don't want to query the database on every page request. so everytime a user makes changes to lang strings it gets saved in the database and than written to lang file)

he needs a bit more I'd say. he does not want only the user that created the topic to be able to moderate that topic but an entire group

lang tag: personally I realy like it and I go with the arguments of Aaron and TE about [lang=<lang>] and not [<lang>] ;)

I'm not sure if it should be a mod or not and I'm not trying to make my own decision on that.

I might not get the point but AFAIK real prepared statements as CJ Jackson posted em are not only there to avoid sql injection but to improve performance.
is that what is used or are there just checks for the data to avoid injections?

most germans don't like nazi's and what has happened in the past. most... there are still enough idiots left who actually are proud of what was done...
