Tried to follow the tip re the homepage in "new revs" but the code you gave "modify $settings['default_index']" is not in my Home.template.php!

No, Alpha 1 was fine, firefox 16.02
I will reinstall to see if that cures it.

Further to my host still having MYSQL 5.0.9 It seems to have worked on him. He is upgrading one of his newest servers within the next few days and will move my account over for free :cool:

So not long and my test site will be live, and not on Wamp :eheh:

OK installed with wamp on localhost :whistle:

Created album in media and cannot get mass uploads to work, single upload works no problem.

Sorry had a bug my side, sorted now and works perfectly :cool:

Amazed at the speed, even allowing for virtually no posts. Admin functions execute very fast :D

Downloaded, no probs there but my host has MYSQL 5.0.95 installed, so cannot install so it tells me :sob:

I have a for me great host so I aint about to change. This is the first install I have encountered this problem on, and I have tried many, I even have an IPB license!

I have been using SMF since late 2003

I have a test site, currently with installed SMF 2.1 Alpha :whistle: My Test Site

I have several websites (unfortunately adult sites ::) ), for over 10 years now, so I know my way round with MYSQL :angel:

looking forward to looking at the admin section, and plugins. I tend to spend 4-5 hrs daily on my sites.
