If you believe in astrology, it explains why we agree on many things and yet butt heads. :)

well, I have to say... I disliked the past weekend's episode. :(
oh, and about the hologram.... the ship with that hologram blew up. No mention of what happened to the other 6 ships though.

or even a nice statement indicating
"This is an unofficial Wedge fan site. This site is not associated with nor endorsed by Wedge"

They go through this regularly on SMF... it's incredibly frustrating.
i.e. SMFitalia claims to be the "official" italian support site for smf and even republishes smf announcements in italian from their own site.
people sign up at "freesmfforums" and assume they are associated with and supported by the official smf site...
all I can do is bang my head on the desk, multiple times....
The only thing SMF does these days is request that any site using the SMF tradmarked name, etc in the forum, url or site name state that they are not officially associated with Simple Machines. I don't think it is too much to ask... and it looks like Nao is just asking for the same thing.
And sorry, inter... if someone is looking for Wedge in russian, yes, they most certainly will look at the URL and assume that wedge.su is an official site, unless it states otherwise.

how he GOT his power? He is a frakin alien baby... not some spider-bit teen! He's always had his power(s).
Sorry - Smallville was crap... it had poor plots and tried to tie in all of the classic stuff form grown superman/metropolis into the teen years of smallville.
Cameos by Aquaman, black Canary, Green Arrow, (hmm, wonder woman?) and several other DC- JLA heroes....

yup... smallville sucked.
Arrow is likely to suck as well...
I kinda liked Bird of Prey (the live action one), but it never got much of a chance...

Green Lantern, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman...
TV Series like Bird of Prey, Smallville, green arrow, aquaman, etc... but, for some reason, they just are not as good as the Marvel stories and filmography.

Oh, he has killed before... and we've seen him go completely mad several times, even in the old serieses but more recently with Ecelston and even Tennant. However, Smith is a truly vengeful doctor... Look at how his acted toward the folks who kidnapped Amy... or the ships who tried to put him in the pandora box.
(click to show/hide)
Yes, the biggest plot hole in the episode was picking up the Ponds...
but I did like the line from Amy "Stop Flirting. there will be no flirting with my companions" (or something along those lines)
It makes me like her a little again... I haven't linked the Amy character in a while....

ok... just saw the second of the new series....
On the one hand, I liked it, a lot...
on the other hand, Matt Smith's frenetic doctor is really starting to wear on me....

Bane's voice annoyed me, because it was so muffled that I had a hard time understanding him in many places during the movie.
the rest of it... meh... I preferred the first two movies, much more.
and DC movies are crap these days. Marvel rules the movie-verse

yeah... I didn't go into the entire list of companions... :)
I actually kinda liked Adric, but then again, he was there WITH Nyssa and Romana...
I had completely forgotten Peri.. How could I have forgotten that?
and ok... I'll give you Mel. I had also forgotten Mel... but only because I blocked it out.
I know WHY Ace was such a bad character... but it doesn't make the character any better, knowing the reason. :P
