Strikes me that there's two ways to do it, either by checking for $txt[$current_setting . '_subtext'] and just setting subtext to that if found, or manually specifying it as a parameter. The former would be quicker and likely easier to use but the latter would be clearer how the answer is derived.

Which would you prefer to use? (Remember that you can have help text if you so desire, though it's not immediately obvious how... if you declare $helptxt[$current_setting] and then have it so your language file is also loaded by the lang_help hook, it should work (though I haven't tested to be sure)

Well, that part is sort of the idea, though I'm not sure what else you'd need to do (since locks are also similarly covered; there is an internal difference between a non-moderator locking their own topic and a moderator lock, and the non mod cannot override the mod lock)

My theme was never intended to replace WAP layout, it's not meant for those phones and would probably look horrible. never tried, so not too sure.

I use WAP2 also with my iPhone.. it loads pages instantly! :)

I should add it's well deserved -- you can glance at his work when following links, there are some impressive things. Including some assembler code! :lol:
(My little finger is telling me that Google Code-In becomes much easier to handle by using the Google search engine, just like any sane person would do... :P)
