The only real advantage a native app has is better integration into the OS, with push notifications et all along with access to the corr APIs which can sometime help in cases such as uploading. Speed and accessibility can also be said as advantages but that's debatable. This is coming from a guy who developed the tapatalk plugin for SMF :P.

There is no reason to, having individual repositories will allow for a much better development cycle since they'll maintain individual history and pull requests. Now I have to download all the plugins simply because I want to submit a PR for mass_upload...
PS: Use git subtree (like here) if you want to split the repositories.
PPS: I'm fairly sure I can't fork the repo without voiding the license :P

So my old one (White Unibody 13" MacBook, late 2009) had been giving me hell, so I decided to get a new one. Ultimately I ended up getting the 2012 MacBook Pro Retina, 15" one. It's an awesome upgrade, especially the display is fantastic :D.
Oh, and it smells fantastic :D

Of course, one methodology of nailing that is simply to strip nesting of quotes so that when you quote a post you're only quoting that one post so you wouldn't get crazy amounts of notifications. So that when a post is quoted, only that post's owner gets notified.
