I blame Microsoft for perpetrating the myth that there's such a thing as US English :P

Blah, they couldn't even spell "Honour" properly, they always miss the "U" out. What a bunch of twat!
That's how they spell it over there, apparently. It's as though they changed it just to spite us!

In my mind if I wanted a protection board (recycle board) I would just set up a board with restrictive permissions and just move stuff doesn't work well for posts but great for topics.
Just like how SMF does it right now. The recycle board is already built in, and works by nature exactly in this way; though it splits deleted posts off into its own little new topic.

Features / Re: How about PMs being listed in Core Features?
« on April 10th, 2011, 02:18 AM »
Well, I'm planning on doing away with the separate page that is Core Features because it confuses people.

Instead I'm planning to provide the option to disable it, but with a different way of doing it to what you've seen before ;)

Btw I'm very appreciative of anyone taking time to fix my English. I'm an avid learner and I strive for perfection.
Your welcome  ;)
Ah, the irony. ;)
Next to tinny and bronzy on the periodic table? ;D Irony is the one aspect of humour the British have mastered, and it's why so many of the American comedies don't make me laugh.

yall are fucked, i try to make a friend, and all i get is the door.

so i guess the door it is. :(
Friends don't generally talk down to people they're trying to befriend and make them feel kinda worthless by thinking that the person they're trying to befriend is basically an idiot who has to have basic ideas explained to them.

We should, yes, but right now I really don't have any objections to just using it for promotion...

I haven't been on Twitter in forever, I get all the updates I want via RSS ;)

Certainly, mobile.twitter.com doesn't but the again it doesn't have much need to.

I can confirm that the fix does work. I did get that much tested last night.

OK, why's the logo displaying in the center?  :o
Because here is still primarily using the Noisen codebase which had a lot of blogging features added in to it, including that particular layout for images.

Try using:
Code: [Select]
instead of img.

See, there's the thing. I don't have a sense of smell so it doesn't bother me, but it does mean that I'm much more sensitive to how things *taste* and their texture than most people.

(Oh.)
Yes, it's normally a diversionary question, but there would be one shining moment where I'd have asked it for the genuine reason - whether he actually wanted more tea or not. We said to him at the start that he was more than welcome to come join us in the pub because there would be tea and coffee as well as alcohol, and I was rather happy to see him there, just thought it was awesome.

Seriously, it's lager everywhere? What about wine, eh?
Here? We're a nation of lager louts. Wine is usually considered to be for the upper classes, for those who are lower-middle class trying to be upper class, very rarely, the wife or girlfriend of a drinker. That's not to say that that's going to be true all the time (my dad rather liked wine) but it's certainly the stereotype.

I generally avoid lager unless it happened to be Kronenberg.

more precisely, my steak & kidney pie
S&K is one of the few things I avoid; mostly because I dislike the feel and taste of kidney. Steak and ale pie is usually OK though.

More interesting than mine  To be fair though, I don't tend to dine out in pubs much, tend to be a takeaway person.

Well... My last one-- I was too young to remember well. I mostly remember the actual *bad* moments.
:( I thought the wake went rather well actually, got to talk to a lot of people about my dad, people I hadn't seen in years, family, co-workers, friends - and it rounded off the service rather fittingly.

There is no good reason to provide two totally different methods and interfaces for the same thing. That's not going to help users, it's going to confuse them even more.
