I've never used vBulletin as an administrator, and I suspect most here haven't.

I could do it in SMF/Wedge pretty much with my eyes shut though

*cough* There is no Blues Brothers 2000.
But it was titled Blues Brothers 2000!

Not quite, but it is better than some this series. First half was awesome, but it sort of lost it a bit for me by the end.

I really must catch up with TW but meantime, DW episode 11.

(click to show/hide)
Epic episode. Proper instilling of fear, with a nice conclusion, but it seems a shade convenient.

Second use of the bells of ST Clements nursery rhyme in as many episodes. Amy and Rory going home, and into their own house... The same house as in episode one, perhaps?

Plus the statement made by the beast at the end, about the gift of death, to one who has lived so long, soaked in the blood of innocents. Callback to the Pandorica, purchance?

We have talked about it.

Thing is, there's already an editor that sort of does that built right into SMF (and thus Wedge)

Tell you what, though, there is one huge problem with using such an editor: security. Half of the security patches I've seen in WP in the last year are related to the editor. This is not a situation I really want to get into.

I never really said it at the time but I was kind of embarrassed by it because I've never really been the kind of person who attracts fan attention...

That reminds me of the fan site that sprang up a year or so back about me, though since discontinued. There were quite a few banners like that...

BB2000 does NOT exist.
Just like the fact there was only one Matrix film ;)

And yes, BB2000 was basically a parody. Quite why Aykroyd agreed to do it, I have no idea.

Pete, bed time and I haven't found a suitable way to fix this. Can anyone with svn read access give a look into this post under IE8? Either run it from XP if you have it, or Win7 -> run IE9, F12, choose IE8 browser mode.
That would require me to turn my PC on when I'm currently on my Mac, experimenting with stuff in the hope of clearing my mind after spending two and a half days on rewriting the add-table routine.

What exactly is the bug with respect to whitespace? I'm presuming it's related to code tags given what you're saying, and I know I altered the code a while ago due to whitespace problems because IE has funny ideas about how it should handle whitespace in code tags.

As long as I'm not John Goodman, I think we'll be OK.

I mean... it's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. ;)

(Yes, I like The Blues Brothers. Shame the "sequel" was so bad, really.)

So do we both need to get dark glasses, black suit/tie combinations and start belting out Chicago style tunes?

We haven't even removed all the funny comments that we inherited from SMF; there's at least one funny comment left that's a Dr Who reference, and I know I inserted a Star Trek quote at one point.

That said, we did remove all the actual easter eggs from SMF because as cute as some of them were, they sort of were in the way.

I don't tend to add easter eggs to things myself, I tend to leave it at just comments in the source, though I won't stop them being added.[1]
 1. There are, incidentally, two easter eggs in SimpleDesk, and though I cleaned up the code of both, certainly didn't discourage them being added...

No veto :P

And for the very first time since I started the add-on manager and you with the block changes, I actually have an edit conflict to resolve in Load.php (which is quite amazing given that you've made major changes and I've made quite a few of my own in there...)
