I don't think those make a difference to be honest.
The only way I can see it happening is if there's some kind of issue and it thinks that the draft didn't get saved when it actually did; if the auto save PM function returns false for any reason, it's going to continue back in normal execution. But I don't know why it would return false.

OK, this is weird, I actually can't reproduce it locally, not at all. As far as I know I've reproduced all the circumstances that should trigger it :/

When it's something like that, that's pretty user centric and I don't have any better ideas immediately, I'll take a look around to see what everyone else is doing as well, and while I'm not a fan of a certain mod, I can't deny that XenForo does it with style.
I know I'll be using our popup which is a lot leaner and less obtrusive, though.

Actually I wasn't even thinking of a certain mod, I was actually thinking about what XenForo does; the link where you see the list of other names appears as a huge popup on the screen (even to the point of dimming out the rest of the content) with names and avatars and stuff.

* stats box, shouldn't it use the thumb-up icon? :P
* do we need a way to disable it?[1]
* gotta implement caching and a way of displaying the list of everyone who likes a post in a pop-up. Not sure how that should look, does it need avatars?

So, gotta fix that PM bug.
Also, I'm thinking I should tweak the quick reply version, I'm not sure I like the way it runs the entire set of buttons into a single line (whereas the full reply screen pushes the last saved/remove button to the next line)

A side matter to attend to: board moderator badges.
I've been thinking about this and I'm inclined to suggest two avenues of badge for it.
1) If the user has a badge already from their primary group, don't bother showing the board moderator one. (Of course, if they have no badge from their primary group but instead post count, use board mod)
2) Show board moderator as an additional badge instead of replacing whatever badge is there.
Which would you use?

You all know I don't have a lot of sympathy for forum SEO, but this is honestly frustrating.
