I was trying to add hooks to thoughts, but I'm a bit concerned by a few things. Namely that we're querying the table to get the 'last thought id' for removal, then querying using that but apparently it's in user's data as a string (i.e. $last_thought is returned as the thought id, but is injected into the string for lookup in user data as if it's the thought text)
I'm also not entirely clear what the best parameters to send to a hook are, either.

I can edit and remove any thoughts (being an admin here) from the front page, but on an SVN copy I only ever seem to be able to get the 'reply' button to appear.
Digging through the code, it seems to be testing for data-self to be added but the SVN Welcome template does not seem to have this, or maybe it's late and I'm just missing something fundamental >_>

No, it's not ready for prime time. An alpha in April is, if I might suggest, a touch optimistic since the preparser is currently rather broken and the main parser needs a lot of work, meaning that depending on how well reworking those goes will depend really on how quickly an alpha emerges.
I know it's been suggested lately that we throw up a download link somewhere prominent and explain all that, might stop the flow of threads asking (since now we have multiple of them >_<)

There's actually a side issue now that I think about it with the /me tag, where it trims inner space when it shouldn't.

Also, should category URLs (e.g. wedge.org/category/x/) be pretiffied with the category name?
Or, for that matter, media items? I think it would be pretty neat to offer it, even if it's off by default.

Hopefully, r1517 will solve this.
The reason it was freaking out is because the server timezone wasn't taken into account properly.
