I'm busy indeed. Sometimes I'll just read recent posts on my mobile and leave the actual answer to my next PC session (sometimes I forget), sometimes I'm just busy and not visiting wedge and then a browser crash and I'm suddenly reloading plenty of pages which I'm not actually visiting. So be patient with me please. Usually it's all random ;)

Yes Maxx I did receive your donation. Thank you very much! I'm always uncomfortable discussing donations but I know I'll eventually have to face it! Or them!

Donation links for members:
http://wedge.org/profile/?area=subscriptions

Actually, this made me realize that there's a bug in the subscriptions rewrite... (By Pete, should I mention... :P)
Because the 'additional group' in the Maecenas group wasn't applied to you, Maxx. I added it manually. Now you have access to more boards. :D

You mean... Like a "Donate" button on the first page, even for non-members..?

Remember, everybody don't use Paypal.

I need to check my thought!

If they can down load the Wedge, then I would say Yes, but again I'm talking a contribute bottom, not donation ( don't like the sound of that ) it not a hand out it for hard work as I see it!

or you could include it in the package? it's up to you but, you deserve to get paid in any case! Contribute Via PayPal, if you are allowed??

Maxx

Just want to say that Paypal.... is cool so far for many years now, the secure up to 500 bucks I think, it's free up to that amount. so you save money there also and no irct link to your back account/ or card. I find it very useful, but like everything you need to double check the security of any place you trade with and what other say about the merchant.

and just like any other you will get fake emails from any merchant you deal with, always take care on the web! it's jungle out there!
and now days they steal your ID form in front of your eyes ..I know maybe some countries may not use this... in that case sorry!

Maxx

There's always the Ubuntu way of doing it where you're offered a chance of donating at the point of download.

@Maxx
It's not about few countries not using PayPal . It's the case of few over-fed American id**ts saying that everyone in my country is a scam. I use my Mastercard which Google 2co and thousands of merchants accepts. Thanks but no thanks for the gaypal lecture, others may benefit from it though.

I think your country is the only one to have a scam named after it... :^^;:
Don't worry though, I'm no stranger to wrongfully acquired reputations, so you're safe here.

Having to accept a Visa or Mastercard or whatever implies having to open a relationship with a bank (as well as build a new layer for the subscriptions code). Not gonna happen... I actually gave up on selling Kyodai Mahjongg because I couldn't be arsed to find a new salesperson after mine was sold to a bigger company and that big company told me they couldn't set up the transition smoothly for me and I had to re-do everything from the start... Yeah, bye bye.
