Nope. Can't reproduce here. Tried changing the album icon (bigicon) for a random album, and it worked just fine.
I'm guessing your copy of ImageMagick has problems. Perhaps you should switch to GD2 in the AeMe settings.

Yeah, with GD2 no problem.
But the more interesting thing is why ImageMagick is f***ed up.

Error is to reproduce with the stable version of Debian wheezy (apt-get blah blah...)

So I've compiled ImageMagick from source and it's working. :)

Okay, then it's definitely not a Wedge bug.

Good to know for tech support. "ImageMagick problem..? Recompile, or switch to GD2!"
