if its Dev (private) you shouldnt have access unless you are listed as Dev Consultant, I could tell you more if I got the exact board though I cant see permission changing that much since I left.

I agree but frequency of changing is also important consideration, changing every few months yes, but changing it every year well thats better.

im quite interested in the double layer system as well should be an interesting system, from my own aspect I am quite impressed in the speed that we managed to get everything out from first being made aware to site being sorted was 30 - 45 mins. Took longer to get the message out as we wanted all the information we could, and there is alot of log files to go through as you can imagine. Liroy did amazing to get every thing sorted, specially considering I woke him up from a good sleep. And he spent countless hours with little sleep going through the logs.
Dont get me wrong was massive embarrassment, such a noob mistake for any admin or site, but we have learnt lesson, have taken steps to prevent it and as you read quite large ones, admins have came to an agreement in changing passwords on regular basis, and I believe a policy will be getting put forward by the BoD, what that covers we shall see :)

lets tell the truth now and stop that bs xrunner, I passed you to k@ as your message was on about various support team members, and I have personal issues meaning I could not answer you in a suitable time frame, nor in a suitable manner. In simple terms end of term at uni and I have a report I need to pass and an exam coming up, I have even posted in team boards stating I wont be as active.

As I said in the topic Arantor provided quite a good response even provided Idea's where Lab could improve, Colin took what was said as an attack and vbgamer jumped on the bandwagon, it must have hurt vbgamer to say the nice things about Pete and the later comments were quite positive for vbgamer. Also so its known out of the list that vbgamer posted as people he knows hates him, he has only approached 2 of the people, Bigguy and Arantor, so I dont think he is all the sincere but this is not the point, I tried to stay neutral. I think Arantor could have been more tactile but then it wouldnt be the guy we all love if he did that :)

For the license: Nao knows my belief on this issue ... simply great to see wedge open more but I still think the good section that should stay is in regards to our 2 favorite people :)
Also it seems you guys have more supporters on SMF Team and Simple Machines Team than you actually think, your recent wedge links ended up with the topic dieing out with no answer being decided but even the person who posted most negativity (and compared to previous posts from those that dont like wedge this was nothing) found out the poster also respects you guys, a few of us are fighting to remove the negativity that some people have and we are making progress.

TBH there has been alot of outrage about how this inciddent was handled Nao, however the truth is why people with the closed mindset hold authority then nowt will really change, one reason why it was such a shame for k@ to leave as he was wulling to speak out as much as me.
