It all works as expected. I can create new albums, etc. But editing this album caused the error.

Can't see a reason for it?
Have you tried to install the plugin "flitter"?
Flitter enables some social networking (Twitter, Google+, FB) for you.
So if enabled you can turn off Likes if you want.

OK, on my ToDo list there is something like a setting in admin area, where you can change the needed size of images and change the button layout.
