The thought did actually cross my mind, but, having 'she who must be obeyed' and the offspring in tow, I didn't think it wise to inflict them upon you! (and besides, I figured you would be far too busy 'Wedging'!)  :niark:

Gold is a technical term originating from the earlier days of media where you create the single master copy and for CDs at least (and quite possibly vinyl), the master was on a gold disc to protect it from wear versus the duplicates made. Once something 'goes gold', it means the master copy has been produced from which all distributed copies are made.
That's what I thought, but I think the Lemmings are going to expect the word 'Gold' in the footer!  ::)

Even though HTC manufacture nearly all the smart phones around............sometimes it can go tits up !
It's an ok phone, a little large for my liking so I swapped mine with my daughter for her HTC Wildfire.

As with all HTC phones, the Desire HD suffers from poor battery life, more so if you use 'live' wallpapers.

I bought myself a fuckoff big battery, (3500mAh), for the Wildfire and am now well pleased!  :cool:

Meh - absolutely nothing! To be honest, the forum had become very 'stale'. It was a very specific forum aimed a very specific group of people, (all ex Royal Navy), and we prided ourselves at being one of the more un-politically correct sites, where you could say absolutely anything and not be jumped on for 'hurting someones feelings'. It always made for very lively debate!!. Over the years, many people had drifted away and/or died and like I said, the place just got stale.

I'm sure many of them will return once I reopen with Wedge, it will still be un-politically correct, but will be open to anyone, not just ex Navy types. I'm currently searching for a suitable domain name.  :niark:
