Of course its obvious from the writing style for many, however did you intend to sign this one as Arantor?

Yes. I thought it would give a dose of reality check to our dear friend :lol: Worked too, he PM'd me shortly after, asking for some tuition in making better code for SMF, along with what amounts to 'I promise to try to listen to you this time' but knowing as I do how well it worked previously, I just told him (nicely!) that I didn't really have time due to other commitments. Funny, he didn't even bother replying (this is 24 hours on at this point)

Thats funny.... he probably saw that sig and and was like oh boy oh boy oh boy, gonna get me some code help.

Unfortunately folks like him just don't realize the listening is a skill, not a promise and either you are willing and receptive to listening or your not.  After enough of "damn I should have listened to them" moments we all learn, just takes some more moments :)
