Each to their own but I'd get more enjoyment sticking pins in my eyes.

Metal? Not for me thanks!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it though!

I have a website for Rock but it's ole school classic rock, like Pink Floyd and Def Leopard everything under the sun. I'm 65 worked a FM rock stations Engineer some years back, and this rock is what kept me half sane during the VN war... My Dad use to say the same about the lite rock I use to listen to growing up, so it the time for young to do there thing, because one day they will look back and ten years blinked by.. SO indeed have so some fun but be safe are you kidding lol!

Maxx

Metal Concerts / Festivals are very safe...

Far safer than those rap events.

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull... good stuff (I wouldn't personally call Def Leppard "old school classic" as they only formed in '77) but not the thrash stuff around these days.

OK, I'm showing my age :P

What grinds be gear is these what ever you want to call them, straight out American idaaaah, or some fools dancing on you the tube like someone removed their brain while still awake, can not play anything, copy some one else music and they become an instant success. I think there where more great artist that died than new real artist today. And there are some good New groups/artist, but nothing like before. I always try to learn new stuff and understand where people come from, after the Disco era, it was all slowly down hill from there.

And I mean from around the world. I don't care what kind it is if they have talent then they are good, and if they bad they plan bad! It will never be like again I'm afraid, no one wants to put in the time and hard work to be successful, they just grow up think they deserve it. Same thing in internet and it's working , devs work very hard to get something useful, and free ( open Source ) and the users get real demanding and up in your face at times, at least it seems to me.

I'll stick to: anything worth having and keeping takes allot of hard work desire to see it through! Like someone I now Know :)

Maxx

Trivia: I wrote Aeva Media 2 specifically so I could post these foxy old rock songs to my website. Or rather, I wrote stuff, and then I backported it into what I called AeMe 2.0.

The only acceptable music is Metal today, and rock from yesteryear.

Yeah, ah ah... Well, "these days", there's always the 'Translate this page' context menu option in Chrome... ;)

On my W95 machine, Netscape was so slow, so long to launch... I used IE2 exclusively. I loved that it would automatically refresh my pages when I was changing the HTML locally in Notepad. Back then, it was all static websites, ah ah... I didn't even need a web server, I could just access my pages with file:// in the URL, and they would run. Then IE3 went out, it was slower, and didn't automatically refresh pages. That was the end of my love story with IE... I stayed with IE, but just didn't like it anymore. I fell in love again a few years later, when I tried Opera. Went on for 8 years, that one... (And, well, I'm writing this from Opera 20, but I still frigging miss their sidebar tab list... The Sidewise plugin just isn't as good.)

I'll have a look at your site, too, but right now I'm busy rebuilding my tab list, because Opera crashed on me and then decided that it didn't want to keep my tab list... -_-

I tried Opera, but just couldn't get into it.

But it was quick that's for sure.

It was absolute heaven for customization geeks.
I could have it run exactly the way I wanted.

Also, I had over 1000 tabs in my Opera, on a machine with only 2GB of RAM, and it still worked fine.
Nowadays, well... After a hundred tabs, Opera starts crashing *my PC*. More precisely, my Aero interface gets destroyed and I have to quit Opera, then restart the window manager, then restart Opera. Sucks.

Same happened to me with firefox one time, I think it was an update, I guess I need to turn the auto update off :(

Removed all my bookmarks and pile of mess I had anyway :)
