Wouldn't be hard to write, if the PC is wifi enabled.

My PC is not wifi enabled, therefore I can't test it.

I suppose I could try writing it for my Mac though...

I don't see why it wouldn't be. Fairly sure Python has TCP port level bindings available even in Windows.
